INITIAL
LOADING/ ACTIVATION KEY
To help you get up and running as quickly as possible, follow the
steps in this installation guide and front P.C. screen.
To prohibit unauthorised copying, this programme may require an
initial authorisation key and registration to run the software and
allow you to operate the software for a 12-month period only.
INITIAL LOADING FOR A P.C. CONNECTED TO THE
INTERNET. It is important that you load the programme in
accordance with the simple instructions provided;
• Insert
the CD into your CD-ROM drive
• ensure the P.C. speakers are turned on
• the software should run automatically. If not:
• choose “Run” from the Start menu
• type the following: (replacing the letter “d”
with the appropriate letter if your CD-ROM is not drive D)
d:\setup
• press return.
• Follow the installation and key authorisation Instructions
KEY CODE Follow
the key code instructions, once you are given your key code activation
number “type” the activation number in the required
box, note: cutting and pasting in the code will not activate the
programme.
IF
YOUR P.C. IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET
Simply load the software on your P.C. and note the P.C. Hard drive
registration key number, then use a P.C. connected to the internet
and replace that P.C. registration key number with yours, complete
the registration details and note the Key Code activation number
given and simply duplicate the process on your own P.C using the
Activation key number given.

you in initially loading the programme correctly.

Don’t forget that a large proportion of our template guide
policy’s and procedures must be reviewed by you annually by
law and that this programme is only Suitable for small and medium
size low risk businesses,
Our software will indicate
if the Quick-time programme is required, if so follow the loading
instructions after which the software will then auto-load every
time. Depending on your P.C. specifications there may be a slight
delay between selecting each programme. Moving the mouse arrow over
a button will display further information.
VIDEO
CLIPS & CAD PROGRAMME (where provided)
Please ensure your P.C. speakers are turned on before using the
programme. Follow the MediaGold CAD loading instructions, don’t
forget to complete the registration requirements included within
the programme.
Please note in accordance
with the Data Protection Act this information will be given to a
third party {MediaGold} and will not be disseminated further without
your express permission.
Follow the FloorPlan
loading instructions in that you will be given the option of opting
in or out of receiving further information pertaining to the FloorPlan
product.
WORD PROCESSING PROGRAMME & PUBLISHING
FACILITY
As advertised in the system requirements you will need Microsoft
Word to run a number of software files. Operate and amend the programme
files as a standard Microsoft Word document and save onto you P.C.
hard drive for filing purposes. Where applicable simply fill in
the [INSERT] boxes and print off the forms. When printing large
documents depending on your computer memory and specifications,
you may have to print each page with [INSERT] details individually.
Where temporary fire
posters are printed (where provided), please check and ensure that
they meet legislative and insurance requirements. In all cases users
must ensure and comply with current legislative entitlements before
completing the documents.
A small number of documents
may be provided in ADOBE format, ADOBE reader is provided within
the software programme, please follow loading instructions.

SOFTWARE LICENCE STATEMENT
Helping Hands Software and Protector International Limited (the
“Licensor”) grant you the use of the enclosed Software
(“the Software”) and the documentation, subject to the
following terms: The Licensor owns the enclosed Software programme
and documentation, the Software is licensed and is not sold to you,
you own the disk on which the Software is submitted and is protected
under applicable copyright law. Your right to use this Software
and associated documentation is limited to the terms and conditions
of this licence. This is a legal agreement between you, the Customer,
and the Licensor. By opening the sealed CD-ROM case containing the
Software you agree to be bound by these conditions and cannot return
the software if the packaging has been opened. You assume responsibility
in full for the selection of the software to achieve your intended
results and for the installation. The Licensor reserves all rights
other than those expressly granted under this agreement without
limitation unto itself. The Licensor retains all rights and interest
in the Software. This licence grants to you a royalty-free non-transferable
and non-exclusive licence to use the Software herewith delivered
with this agreement for your use only. United Kingdom copyright
law and international copyright treaty provisions protect this Software.
The Licensor grants you the right to train up to 99 persons per
site only where the software contains a training programme, for
a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, and use one copy
of the Software on a single computer, 10 computers if the purchased
product is the Workstation Welfare software title. If you plan to
operate the Software on a network, or require a multi-user licence,
please contact Protector International Ltd or an approved distributor
to request a site or multi-user licence. You are entitled to make
a back-up copy of this Software to protect your investment. Except
as permitted above, you undertake not to copy, store in any medium

modify, or show in public any part of this CD-ROM without the prior
written permission of Protector International Limited or in accordance
with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.You may not rent,

Limited Warranty. The Licensor (jointly and severally) warrants
the physical diskette and physical documentation enclosed herein
to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period
of 30 days from the date of purchase by the end user. Protector
International Ltd has provided this Software as a general guide
to assist management, in all cases users must ensure and comply
with current legislative entitlements and regulations before completing
the documents. Whilst this Software and documents are comprehensive,
users should in all cases satisfy themselves that the arrangements
and procedures detailed within this Software are suitable and sufficient
for their intended application and meet current regulations. Users
are to seek specialist advice where special conditions and risk
exist. Errors or omissions are to be notified to Protector International
Ltd. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Protector
International Ltd shall not be liable by reason of any representation
(other than a fraudulent representation) or implied warranty condition
or other term or any duty at common law or under the express terms
of this licence for any consequential loss or damage (whether for
loss or profit or otherwise and whether occasioned by the negligence
of Protector International Ltd or its employees, distributors or
agents or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with any act
or omission of Protector International Ltd relating to the manufacture,
supply or content of the Protector Products, their resale by a distributor
or their use by any customer/user, Nothing in this agreement shall
limit or exclude or be deemed to limit or exclude any liability
of Protector International Ltd in respect of death or personal injury
caused by the negligence of Protector International Ltd. Further,
neither Protector International Ltd, nor its servants, suppliers
and distributors shall be liable for any indirect or consequential
liability damage or loss howsoever caused arising out of the use
of this Software and accompanying written material, or for any claim
(whether direct or indirect) for loss of profit, or loss of data,
or other similar claims, even if Protector International Ltd are
specifically advised of the possibility of such damages. If and
to the extent that Protector International Ltd shall have any liability
for any damages to you or any other person such claim shall not
